Index Homepage messed up - please can you help?

Hi,

Since having a corrupted db and having it recovered, I am having a few site problems, one being that the main index / home page on the site isn't working as it should - i.e: it just shows up 'welcome would you like to log yourself in ....' - thing is I had a lot of writing on there and graphics and they are showing anymore and I can't figure out why.

1. Text Intro & Text Main not appearing from file catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php on website.

2. Text & jpg's within file catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php not appearing on website

Thank you for that - OK it did something. I have my text back from includes/english/index.php - but its all huge (ok no great worry there - at least its back hey!).

The only thing I cannot get rid of or even know how to move are these things:

The reason for the enormous gap is ..

www.equineinternetsupplies.co.uk/images/table_background_default.gif

This is a blank image of size 100px by 100px

create a new blank image of smaller dimensions (right down to 1px by 1px if need be)

Name it table_background_default.gif and overwrite the one on your server.

Hi there, I have just downloaded it and opened it up and the gif is only 1 pixel by 1 pixel in paint.

Where did you see it being 100px by 100px?

Then it's your image settings in admin>configuration>Images

Do you want to show category images? If not .. find

Replace with ..
