Pick up points rather than home address?

I'd like to be able to allow users to select a pick up point, rather than have things delivered to their home address.

 

The idea is.....

 

1. Client orders and selects a collection point from a list of, say, 10 round the country (a small country ;-) )

 

2. We despatch to that collection point.

 

3. Client picks up the order.

 

 

Is there a module, attachment or method for doing this? Any suggestions welcome, my php is ok ish, but I've lots to learn.

Not really I'm afraid as it does not check for anything... nor does it support multiple 'pickup points' I could order at your shop from the Netherlands and have it delivered at pickup point X...

You can create the pickup points by renaming the module though, so you have pickup_1.php / pickup_2.php etc.

Its a good start, that pointer has enabled me to understand how this works anyway. I was anticipating having to write a lot of code, but less so now.

Ok,

 

if I say rename the module I mean EVERYTHING.. also in the module php file itself. Just do a search-replace in it. Remember the module name is used case sensitive, there are CAPS instances as well.

Don't forget to adapt the language files ...
