Orders not coming through

I log on to the osc data base and can see new customers but no new orders. What do I do? I have a new order, I know because I got a conformation of payment from Pay Pal, and the customer information is under customers but under orders there is nothing. I have never received and e-mail for new orders. I talked to my provider and he can see orders in the data base but I can't get to them.

It is most likely that they have not confirmed to come back to the site so it has not triggered the database as confirmed. There is a contribution for this I had to use it on one of our jobs I think is called orders in holding.

This happens on all the different check out choices.

 

Were do I find "orders in hold"?

 

Is there some were in file manager I can find these orders?

Crystal,

 

Goto Admin > Tools > Backup Database. Click backup, and make sure the Download Only is checked. This will spit your entire database into a text file.

 

Open the text file in a good editor and weed through it. If you have orders, you will eventually find them with full detail.

 

This will at least get you going. It might also give you some clues as to why they're not showing.

Thanks Pete. I still need to find a fix. I have found a "Preparing [PayPal IPN] " under order status in the admin. Any idea what that dose and would it have anything to do with my problem?

Have you seen This PayPal addon

 

This Module may already be installed, by not activated and/or configured for use, it will solve your problem.

Let me know if you need any help installing it. (And we should use the latest version available)
