Problem with showing attributes and totalprice in the shopping cart when same product is added to cart multiple times

I have a product with multiple attributes...

when I am trying to add the same product to the cart for multiple times, only attributes for the last selection is displaying in the shoppingcart and also the total price is (totalprice for the last selection * quantity)...

i am selecting different attributes for different selections of the same proiduct.....but that is not reflected in the shopping cart

Anybody ..please help...
