Mis Ordered Product

Hi, I have just taken over control of site after previous IT guy left.

I thought the site was running fine.

However, I have just had an email from a customer saying that the product she ordered is not what the system is showing (this wrong item was sent yesterday).

The oscommerce invoice/packing slip shows a different product, with shipping, tax and total for the same wrong product. (Database has stored wrong product)

The credit card system (Secure Trading) shows the correct product (and tax etc) and has taken the correct payment.

Should I put this down to a random error??? Both items have been ordered correctly in the past.

Have absolutely no evidence for this but could be a sessions problem.

But there is no such thing as a random problem in IT

Try some test orders on different products and see what you get.
