Which Payment modules are most stable?

I'm deciding which merchant account I want to set up and would like opinions on which payment module is the most stable and problem free.

 

I would like to use itransact but by most accounts this module is not ready for prime time.

 

Also I'm running 2.2 and don't see itransact as a module in the list. I have seen much discussion about it here. Is this module still available and if so where?
