Cannot Replace Text "Surface Mail to US"

Hi,

 

I want to change the text "Surface Mail to US" to say "Media Air Mail to US" on any page where this text appears on my OsComm site. I searched for instances of the target text in all files and folders under the "catalog" folder.

 

The target text was found in two files and no others:

 

catalog\includes\languages\english\shipping.php

 

catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\shipping\flat.php

 

I updated these two files and uploaded them to my site. (I later verified that these two files had indeed been uploaded.) However, the old text is still showing upon my site. Any idea why? As far as I know I replaced all instances of the old text.

Have you cleaned out your temporary Internet files?

Whenever I make a change to a page, I always hold the <Ctrl> key down while clicking the "page refresh".

 

This forces the browser (IE and Firefox anyway) to retrieve the latest content from the web site.

Sorry for my late reply, germ.

 

Yes, I did delete my temp internet files in IE. And in Firefox.

 

This is the second time I have tried to replace these particular stings, with the same sad result.. I have successfully changed other strings but not these.

I would have thought they'd be in your admin folder somewhere as well.

 

I've searched my files, and I don't have it anywhere.

 

The only thing I could suggest is FTP all your files to your PC and use one of the methods talked about here:
