So Many People Want It, It Should Be Very Easy, Please Help!

I was looking in the contribution area for a search box with the attributes drop down menu so customers could search by the products attributes, I only found this feature contributed on the advanced search page.

After about an hour of using Google and playing with the code myself I got no where, I did however find about 10-20 people who have also asked for this, I would think there is a lot more! I would think someone with more experience would be able to crack this within a few minutes because looking at the code which has been added its not much.

 

Below are 2 contribution links, the first on is the advanced search page which has got the code to call for the attribute drop down menu so you can search, the added code can also be easily seen in the file!

The second is a advanced search box which I thought someone code add the code from the first contribution into the second, I think a lot of osCommerce users would benefit from this, please help.
