Bet you bought a template and now you are shouting at us because it doesn't work.

how did you take the products off? to put them back on again, do what you did in the first place, you know, when you put them on.

or is Leslie correct in assuming you bought a template?

* checks site ... yep, that's a template!

My suggestion would be to go back to the people that sold you the template.

Avoid Templates. They create more issues than they are worth. Learn to build your own.

Once a Template is in place it is very hard to customise. You can of course, edit your template to include templates images or styles, but in order to make this work, your better off researching how OSCommerce uses files first else you could run into all sorts of problems.

This has been said, time and time again on this furm... Just thought I mention it AGAIN! LOL

You have done nothing wrong. It is the template provider that sold you a template that is out of date and buggy.

Templates have been posted about to the stage where I say, not another one.

Download the latest OSC from the solutions tag at the top of the page. Install it in accordance with the pinned post at the top of the installation and configuration forum.

Then, you have three options.

1.. try to integrate the template into your installation

or

2.. install the STS addon

or

3.. develop your own template or just make cosmetic changes.

You should download xamp or wamp, install on your pc, and install osc under wamp or xamp. Use this as your development server.

Use an ftp program (filezilla is free) to copy files to and from your webhost.

Use a text editor to change files.

Backup before you make changes.

Have a backup of your website on your PC.

Learn as you go, don't be afraid to make mistakes. The forum will help if you can't work it out.

Listen to advice on the forums, but the advice may not be correct. We are just a collective of individuals that try to help and what we know is only based on our experience.
