Export-Import Categories & Products

I want to export the categories and products from one osCommerce site to another osCommerce site. I don't have alot of experience with osCommerce, so I need a way which is easy to use and understand. I see there are several different modules. There is Easy Populate to an Excel file, one to export into either Excel, Word, CVS or XML, another to export them into a .cvs file and one to export them into an XML file. I don't really know anything about XML. BUT, I would like to hear from other users as to which one of these is the easiest and works the best. I'd also like to be able to edit the file before I import it into the ne4w site.
