Jan Zonjee Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 any body can help me Bumping without giving additional information is against the forum rules. Incidentally, I tried your site yesterday with the products test1 and test and I couldn't see anything slow about it (using Safari on Mac OS) so I suggest you go into more detail about who has the problem instead of this bumping.
dakshika Posted December 15, 2007 Author Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks jan, Sorry for my foolish attempts. Hello there:) . I have recently created an e-commerce web site called www.apparel-magic.com. What I did was put up oscommerce(which is in PHP) core system and downloaded a template from templatemonster.com and added about 12 contributions to the web site. This site is on a dedicated server. Just after I was going to test the site it is terribly slow on some connections. But amazingly fast on other connections. Note that bandwidth of the connections are the same and they come from the same ISP. Also the funny thing is that inside my small home network on one machine it comes up fast and on the other it does not. This is totally frustrating. :mad: I have the exact same system uploaded at http://cart.mclanka.com/osc/ but on a different server (shared). It works fine on every machine and in every connection. But the original site is on a dedicated server and it still does not come up. I discussed with the dedicated server provider and they assured me that there is no bottle neck in there system. THis happense only when we try to add something to the cart or try to checkout. Please help. If you at least have a hunch please please let me know!!!!!! I got d same problem with same site you answered to sanelv but he also unable to find solution for that situation. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=282169&hl= Any way thanks jan. Hope :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :D DJS
Jan Zonjee Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I got d same problem with same site you answered to sanelv but he also unable to find solution for that situation. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=282169&hl= It is not the same problem but if I use curl to add the product to the cart (kind of because the post values for the products_id are not posted with it) the Windows server this is on complains bitterly: curl -v http://www.apparel-magic.com/product_info.php?action=add_product&pName=test2 [1] 592 iMac:~ janzonjee$ * About to connect() to www.apparel-magic.com port 80 * Trying 72.55.174.20... * connected * Connected to www.apparel-magic.com (72.55.174.20) port 80 > GET /product_info.php?action=add_product HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: curl/7.13.1 (powerpc-apple-darwin8.0) libcurl/7.13.1 OpenSSL/0.9.7l zlib/1.2.3 Host: www.apparel-magic.com Pragma: no-cache Accept: */* < HTTP/1.1 302 OK < Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 < Pragma: no-cache < Content-Length: 209 < Content-Type: text/html < Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT < Location: http://www.apparel-magic.com/shopping_cart.php?osCsid=482c64ad247795c38d67275965e7c224 < Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 < File 'c: \mysql\share\charsets\?.conf' not found (Errcode: 2) < Character set '#33' is not a compiled character set and is not specified in the 'c: \mysql\share\charsets\Index' file < X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.7 < Set-Cookie: osCsid=482c64ad247795c38d67275965e7c224; path=/; domain=www.apparel-magic.com < X-Powered-By: ASP.NET < X-Powered-By: PleskWin < Date: Sat, 15 Dec 2007 12:35:45 GMT <head><title>Document Moved</title></head> * Connection #0 to host www.apparel-magic.com left intact * Closing connection #0 I know nothing of IIS servers so I suggest you try to have the 302 Document Moved error fixed before trying anything else.
