bpmcclure Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I'm working with a store that uses customer pick up and local store delivery. They want to offer free delivery within 5 miles of the store, and a flat rate outside of that. Anyone come across anything like this? Seems like we'd need to use Google maps or mapquest, but have not seen any posts like that so far. Saw one contribution that uses Google, but it used it for zones, not distance. Thanks in advance.

The local delivery contribution uses post/zip codes (if that helps).
satish Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I also recommed going the way coopco had suggested. in Your quote function chek if delivery address is within some specified list of zip codes then make the code state that delivery is free. bpmcclure Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 Thanks to both, will look into that approach.
