Guest Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 I have just recently opened an online store using OSCommerce and unfortunately I have been experiencing an issue lately where my sql database will revert back to when I was building and testing my store. This happens just about everyday and I will have to go in and restore the database. I have deleted all restore points except for the current state of the site yet it still reverts back. This is causing any changes made during the day (new customers or orders, etc...) to be lost. I have a help ticket into my server provider but was wondering if anyone here has come across this issue.

Thats a bit strange! If there is no physical way that the SQL can be restored via your store/back up/ or other within your control, perhaps the host is restoring it. I had it myself but only once, where a store i had worked on suddenly went back two years! it turned out to be the host messing with the servers. Apart from ghosts in the machine, its the only thing i can think of!
