Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/xxxxx/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

I get this message if I leave the screen too long and then try to click on something (after session time out???). Only me logon and noone else since my website is not live yet.

I read that this could be the limitation on the server that I'm hosting the website on. I'm still working on adding more contributions to support my website which is not live yet. I guess I also have to find out if this will be the problem as the shopping cart is live. If so this can be a serious limitation. Normally with share hosting, do you have problem with many connections??? Please advice.

I just found out that the max mysql connections for my web hosting is 10. What should be the fair resonable number for a fair web commerce site? I need to get an ideal so that if I ask the web hosting for a resonable connection number and they can't accomodate, I might have to see what I can do next. thank for any replies!!!
