abarry Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 just setup a store the other day. I have been placing test orders and no emails are being sent to the customer or the email address where the orders should go.... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
♥geoffreywalton Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Adam There are a multitude of reasons that email is not working. Hopefully you are on a server on which mail is installed. Go to your admin area and select Configuration > Email Make sure the email address options have a valid emal address Tools > Serve Info Check the path to sendmail. If there is a path it tends to indicate sendmail should work otherwise it indicates smtp should be used. Go to your admin area. Configuration > Email options Search the forums that should give you some potential settings.
