Continue shopping button not working?

Hi

 

This is confusing ... the "continue button" doesn't work properly & I would like it to!

 

If you go via

categories box>top>product_listing>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

categories box>top>sub-categories>product_listing>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

you go back to the producy_listing :thumbsup:

 

If you go via

categories box>top>page 5>product_listing>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

categories box>top>page 5>sub-categories>product_listing>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

you go back to the producy_listing BUT page 1 :angry:

 

If you go via

specials box>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

new products box>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

customers who bought box>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

related products box>product_info>Add to cart>shopping_cart>Continue shopping>

you go back to the product_info :angry:

 

To make them all work the continue button needs to go back to the product_listing (page they were on whether it was 1 or 5) if from categories & all else which appear to have a cPath missing from the URL goes back to the index page.

 

I do not know how to write code, but can edit if a kind prgrammer can suggest a code for me please? :D

 

ps I haven't added a back button anywhere because this confuses the second & third senarios even more. Talk about going round & round in circles!! >_<

Is this standard OSC? or does anyone have a suggested fix for this please? Just wanted to make it a bit easier for the customers to navigate & buy hopefully. :lol:

Yes products are being added to the cart ok but when you click the continue shopping button it is not doing what it should, ie continue shopping from where they came from. :(

 

What is the code I'm looking for in configuration.php?
