mamail Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone out there are hosting their website at IPOWER.com. My account has recently migrated to their new platform (as of Dec. 4th 2007) and they screw me up. All the category links on the left hand side are not working now. There is an error message in the bottom saying: "Error! Unable to determine the page link!" If someone experience the same thing and know how to solve this matter, I am very glad if it can be shared with me as I am desparately trying to fix this for 48 hours now. The IPOWER tech. support doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Thank you so much in advance! M

mamail Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 here is the link: http://www.eyemimo.com/wholesale/catalog for the catalog/include/boxes/category.php file, I did use the contribution that add bullet and line. I changed back to the original earlier, but that did not seem to be the issue. The other contribution that I use are: 1. Pricing by quantity 2. Shipping Overall, it was not heavily modified from the original. Thank you so much in advance! germ Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Your problem is because of the earlier mentioned "Use search engine safe URL's" is still on (true). It makes links like this: http://www.eyemimo.com/wholesale/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/35/products_id/57 When it should be: http://www.eyemimo.com/wholesale/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=57 If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Guest Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Thank you so much! I fixed this problem. I was in the old admin platform that's why when I set "Use search engine safe URL's" to "FALSE", nothing changed. Anyhow..it works now! Thank you guys. You're the BEST!!!! -M- I had you same problem with the platform transfer on Ipower. My problem was made worse by messed up permissions that didn't let me log in to the admin utility and my passwords didn't work. So I could not set "Use search engine safe URL's" to "FALSE", so I endedup just going into PHPmyadim and doing it by hand while I wait for them to fix my problem. In the mean time the I can not invoice orders or anything else. grrr. I also just noticed my automated emails are not working, so I gotta work on that next. I have had a lot of trouble with Ipower, if you have a shared server account then expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes to get someone on the phone. Also it looks like my PHP scripts are running at 50% of the speed they were before the "upgrade." I am worring about this and I may have to move. Any have any great hosting solutions. I host a few client on one shared server.
