Inventory is not being kept right. HELP!

Howdey,

I am brand new to oscommerce and the wonderful world of website building. I sell T-shirts and the inventory is not working with me.

 

Example:

Red Shirts. It tells me when I am low/out of them, but how do I get it to tell me when I am out of Small red shirts, Mediums, larges, etc?

 

I cannot find solutions on this anywhere.

 

Does anyone know what to do?

Does anyone know where in the database I should look for this query to change it? And if I change it, am I going to kill my database?

 

Please help if you can. The first time I looked at code was about a week ago, and I am lost.
