Trouble with firefox, box names and shipping?

I have been configuring oscommerce for the past few weeks trying to get the hang of it and hows things work, now at last I am very nearly there.

 

I am happy with the basic design, although not as good as some I am happy and am happy with the way things run, I just need a hand with a few more things to finish things before I release the site to try and make sale!

 

1. Firefox - when the site is viewed in firefox the price displays as ?1.09 but in internet explorer it is as it should be £1.09, has anybody got any idea. I have saked this before but got no answer!!

 

2. I have 3 boxes, categories - information - search. In firefox the header (ie. name categories) displays to the left but in internet explorer it and everything else displays in the centre. I would like everything to position to the left and ideally delete the box names, anybody know how?

 

3. I am not too sure about how the shipping works as royal mail now gauges a price via size and weight but os is just set for weight. I know some of my items I can post for basic price or two together would be price and a half etc. But, I would like to know how to do this automatically as this is a real stumbling block at the moment.

 

Any help and feedback would be great.
