Getting subtotal and total values

Hello folks,

 

I have a CC contrib (to work according to Brazilian standards) and I want to limit the minimum value for taking the CC payment and calculate CC tax over the total value, so I would like to know how to obtain the total values (with and without shipping) while on checkout_payment.php. I tried to find out looking at the classes called, but it goes a little beyond my skills.

 

A plain answer like the syntax of the object that brings these data is all I need.
