propertop Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 A site I'm working on sometimes hold sales events where the stock from the website can sell in decent quantities. The problem is that this stock needs to be removed or reduced from the site once the events have taken place. There is no issue with stock updating from items sold via the web (I don't think so anyway) but when we manually update stock there's a problem. This problem has come to our attention when we sold out of size medium in a certain sweatshirt we stock. The shop owner reduced the level to zero, which seemed to work, but the option for 'medium' was still showing on the front end of the site, meaning that despite there being none of the items available in medium it was available in that size. When testing I thought that when an item was out of stock in a certain size it left the size option there, but showed [out of stock] after it and also stopped the item from being purchased. This isn't happening. There's no [out of stock] and the item is still available. We've been into configuration and things seem to be as they should be. Anyone encountered this problem before? It's causing us a right nightmare. :'(
