Order updated when payment is done?

Hello to all that great community, i m here to ask an info..... i have installed oscommerce with a custom template, it seem al work without any problem, but when i try to complete an order, if i select as method of payment "cash on delivery", i can see the order by the admin panel, but if i select as method of payment "paypal" (without complete payment, and stopping on paypal form payment) i cant see the order in the webpanel, is it normal? I have to complete payment in paypal to store the order in the webadmin? O i should see anyway that order, even if i dont complete it?
