Nielsen_Trading Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Ok, I have the offical osCommerce Module for Website Payments Pro - Store Account Required US version. I have managed to install the module and I ran through the Configuration Settings & have configured has follows: Credit Card Test Info: CC#: 4111111111111111 Expiry: Any Enable this Payment Module True Enable Direct Payment True Debug Mode True Live or Sandbox API sandbox API Username (PRIVATE) API Password (PRIVATE) API Signature (PRIVATE) Proxy Address Transaction Type Authorization Express Checkout: Confirmed Address Yes Express Checkout: Display Payment Page Yes Express Checkout: Automatic Account Creation Yes Sort order of display. 0 Payment Zone USA Set Order Status Processing The Installation instruction say "If you are installing osCommerce for the first time, you can find installation instructions at http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/225, or http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/I...and_Upgrades/41 depending on your environment. You will need to turn on register_globals and enable the mysql extension in php.ini, at a minimum. Once you have copied the files, you need to run a small SQL script. It is paypal_wpp.sql in this directory. The command to run it may vary depending on your database name and user, but will look something like: mysql -u oscommerce -p oscommerce < paypal_wpp.sql This assumes that your database user is named "oscommerce", and the name of the database is "oscommerce". You will be prompted for the database user's password." I have NO clue what to do with this. Do I need to disable all other payment modules? There is more , but I just want to get the basics done first. THANK YOU !!!!! Sheri This is the install instructions: osCommerce PayPal Website Payments Pro, U.S. Edition This module implements PayPal Website Payments Pro, including Direct Payment and Express Checkout, for the U.S. Installation To install this module, back up your existing installation to a safe place and then just copy the included catalog/ directory over your existing osCommerce files. This will replace the modified files and add the new files. However, if you have modified your osCommerce installation, you will need to manually compare the new files with your existing ones, and possible manually merge the changes. If you are installing osCommerce for the first time, you can find installation instructions at http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/225, or http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/I...and_Upgrades/41 depending on your environment. You will be prompted for the database user's password. Configuration Settings Enable Direct Payment Express Checkout payments are always enabled with this module. You can choose whether or not to offer credit card transactions via PayPal with this configuration option. Debug Mode If you turn on debug mode, a complete dump of failed transactions will be emailed to the store owner email address. This can be useful when debugging your settings. Live or Sandbox API Select "Sandbox" for test transactions that do not involve real credit cards or transfer of money. When you are ready to start live transactions, switch it to "Live". API Username This is the username that you received when you requested PayPal API credentials. API Password This is the password that you received when you requested PayPal API credentials. API Signature This is the API signature that you received when you requested PayPal API credentials. Proxy Address If you are behind an HTTP proxy, enter its address here. Leave this blank if you do not require a proxy. Transaction Type osCommerce can ask PayPal to charge the customer immediately (this is a Sale transaction), or you can perform an Authorization transaction which does not transfer funds, just verifies their availability. If you use Authorizations, then you are responsible for doing the final amount Authorization and then Capturing the funds later (for example, once their order has shipped). Express Checkout: Confirmed Address Do you want to require that your customers' shipping address is confirmed with PayPal? Express Checkout: Display Payment Page Do you have additional payment options (such as CCGV or other coupon programs) that should be displayed to Express Checkout customers? If you don't have any such programs then you should turn that off as it would introduce an extra screen before the sale is confirmed. Express Checkout: Automatic Account Creation If a customer uses Express Checkout without logging in, and no account exists for their email address, an account is created for them. Would you like to make it a permanent account and send them an email containing their login information? Sort order of display The sort order for this payment method on the payment information page. Lowest is displayed first. Payment Zone If a zone is selected, only enable this payment method for that zone. Set Order Status Set the status of orders made with this payment module to this value. .
