minimum order fee not added

I couldn't get the lower order fee work. The fee (for example $8.00) will show up during checkout page successfully. But when I pay it with credit card, the Low Order Fee was not charged. I searched the forum by various key words and found some suggestion. I didn't include $ or .00 in the set up. I sort the modules in order. It still didn't work.

 

Modules Sort Order

Low Order Fee 4

Shipping 2

Sub-Total 1

Tax 3

Total 5

 

Anyone know how to fix this?

You don't have to add a $ sign to any of the fields. Have you played around with the "Attach Low Order Fee On Orders Made" setting? Did you check your store country under configuration/my store? Did you set "Allow Low Order Fee" to true?

You say it does not work. Can you be more specific? What do you see on the checkout confirmation page? Have you tried to change the sort order of the module?

I didn't add $ to any fields.

For "Attach Low Order Fee On Orders Made", I tried "National" and "both"

Configuration/My Store, the country is in US. (I am not sure about why this part get involved).

"Allow Low Order Fee" is set to be true.

 

To be more specific, here is the example:

The low order fee shows up during the check out, but it is not actually charged.

Sub-Total: $6.00

Flat Rate (Best Way): $0.00

Low Order Fee: $7.00

Total: $13.00

 

When I place the test order, my credit card was only charged 6.00, instead of 13.00.

I read some post, some buyers have similar problem. But when they change the sort order, it worked for them. I just don't understand why it didn't work for me.
