adresources Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I successfully installed OSC on two different servers. One works and the other does not. The one that does work wrote 47 tables to MySQL. The one that doesn't work, even though it said it was a successful install, only wrote 27 tables. Would this cause a problem with not being able to access the catalog or admin area?
♥Vger Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 If that install only wrote 27 tables to the db then you need to access the db via phpMyAdmin, tick all of the tables and then select to 'Drop' them. Then use the Import tab to locate the oscommerce.sql file on your PC (in the 'install' folder) and then click 'Go' to import the tables again. Vger
adresources Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 That was it! I was unable to use phpmyadmin because of a syntax error issue so I contacted my hosting company and with in minutes they had all 47 tables written to the MySQL db. Thanks for the feedback.
