issanni Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 I'm trying to install osc 2.2 on my webhost server. I'm positive the server is setup for php, mysql etc. becasue I'm already running phpbb 2.0.1 on my site. My problem is that whenever I try to run the install.php and I keep getting Internal Server Errors. I checked and tried all CHMOD combinations. I've changed the CHMOD for the directories and the install.php files. I've also tried copying the CHMOD settings I had used for the phpbb php files and still I get the error. What could be wrong? Joe
Guest Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 The best way to find out what an "Internal Server Error" is about is by checking the web servers error log. The error information isnt displayed to the public for security reasons. In my setup the file is /var/log/httpd/error, but yours may be different. Talk to your hosting provider if you cant find it. Good luck!
