barnettgs Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I have created a category named 'Special Offers' and add a combination of items for the reduced price. These items are already in other Category as a standalone but what I have realised is that the stock count will be inaccurate because both same items are in separate categories. Special Offers does not offer the option for the combination of items - only giving a discount for each item. Any suggestions?

When adding the products to the new "Special Offers" category, do not add it as a new product, just edit the original product and click on the "Link From" button. This will cause all transactions to be effective for both appearances of that product. With that option clicked, that product becomes only 'a representation' of the original product. man of a reformed faith.

Unfortunately, it only allows you to do that for individual items - it doesn't allow you to group several items together in a "package". * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Porpoises are most happy when wet! \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _ \ _
