yacpro13 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Hi all, I'd like to push my customers to write more product reviews. As an incentive, I want to offer all customers who write reviews a discount, perhaps 5% or something. What do you think would be the best way to implement that? A new discount code would have to be created for every review written, which could only be used once, then it would have to be emailed to the customer. Thank you for all your ideas!
spax Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Or you could use Separate Pricing Per Customer. SPPC lets you set up customer groups and assign different prices for any group. You can have as many groups as you want so you could set up a Reviews group, then any of your customers that write a review, you assign them to the Reviews group from your admin. The only bug bear would be you need to edit all your prices to allow for this. Although if you also install Quick Updates for SPPC, this wouldn't take too long. Another add on to SPPC is Hide Products From Groups. If you installed that as well, you could even have special products for review writers or any other group for that matter. Installing one of the coupon mods would, I guess, be simpler. However, SPPC is a great tool for any store and it is very flexible and extensible.
