1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

I'm getting this error when trying to access Specials, Products Expected and Newsletters. Using 2.2 MS2 with PHP 5.2.4. Nothing else giving me problems:

Have you applied the updates to get oscommerece to work with mysql version 5.

 

There is a contribution just search for mysql5

Specifically there is a change to not allow nrgative numbers for the limit in split page results.
