how to add paypal or cc icons on payments page?

I would like to change out the text that reads "credit card" or "paypal" and use cc icons and possible and icon from paypal. I would even settle to use the text and the icons after it. Trying to dress up the payments page and also show which cc cards are accepted by each method. Can anyone help me out??
