Sub Category Within a Sub Category is this possible?

Hi Guys,

 

I would like to add subcategories to my subcategories.

 

Example.

 

I sell Sweets

Customer chooses Chocolates then he goes to a subcategory that shows the different manufacturers he then selects the one he likes and sees the products listed in that category. Is this possible. Please help!

So if I understand you right you are asking if you can do what the oscommerse is set up to have as a standard! Here you for example choose hardware and then CDROM Drives, instead of Chocolates and then manufacturer.

 

All that is controlled in the admin. And should not be nessesary to waste forum space on (if I understand you correct)

Yes it is.

If I understand you correctly, you wish to have a category-sub category-sub/sub category.

Like Chocolates- Bobs chocolate manufaturing- bon bons.

If this is correct, go to the admin area/catalog-contents, and create the category "Chocolates", at the bottom of the Chocolates page is a "create a category" button, clicking it and create your sub category-within your sub category, click it again and creat your sub/sub category. If you are trying to do many categories and sub categories adn more sub/sub categories, try installing or having someone install the "easy populate" module for you. This will create all the categories and sub categories and so on very easily.
