Need help with popup window

I have inserted a series of 120 x 120 images on a page and am trying to allow "click to enlarge" to get a close-up of part of the image. I have tried inserting html code into the page, but always come up with errors. (Although it works in Dreamweaver!) Is there any way to get this to work? The page is generated from one of the 'manage language files' in the tools area. The page displays correctly, but I can't get a "pop-up" window to work.

I would appreciate any help.
