Store Migration Issues

To start, I've done a little bit of research on this, but I'm coming up with different answers dating back to different (older) versions of OSC.

My problem, to be exact, is that when i opened my store, i couldn't have the domain i wanted. Not wanting to wait around losing money, i decided to just get another domain and use that in the meantime. Eventually, the better domain became available, and now i want to move my store over to it. Surely there must be a simple way to use the database in one store to power the other?

The two ways I've seen it done are pretty drastically different, and both quite involved. One uses a separate file (database?) comparison utility to modify the new store's database to match the data in the old one's. The other, which i'm rather partial to, involves just editing configure.php to have OSC read that other database right from where it's always lived.

Both have their pro's and con's, but what i'm really looking for is a better way of doing it. The one I'm most partial to is written in German and then translated into English by babelfish (not that there's anything wrong with that). The other requires me to spend money.

In short, what's the easiest way to get the stuff from the old store at http://store.hhpaintballonline.com into the new store at http://shop.hhpaintball.com ?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
