Modifying contact_us.php

Hello everyone, first I would like to thank the oscommerce team for making such an amazing flexible ecommerce utility. I require some php assistance, Im new to it and Ive been able to reverse learn it by looking at the files and how things work but still Ive been having some problems. Lets go straight to the point. I tried to modify contact_us.php to have more than the 3 fields it currently has. Name:, Budget:, Purpose & Requirements:, Additional Comments:

Modified includes/languages/english/contact_us.php

However, when I submit the info, the name of the person appear in my email and also the only thing that shows properly is Additional Comments: OR sometimes Purpose & Requirements: the rest dont show at all in my email.

 

For example, someone submits this particular information:

Full Name: John Smith

E-Mail Address: [email protected]

Budget: 1500

Purpose & Requirements: Business.

Additional Comments: I dunno.

 

the Results in my email is:

From: [email protected](thats my webhost btw) when it should be [email protected]

Subject: Enquiry from Blackthorne Power PCs

Body: Business.

 

I know im doing something terribly wrong, but Im not sure what...

 

If anyone can help me, Ide appreciate it! Thanks.

wow thanks! by the looks of it, it seems to be what I need. Ill give it a shot and give feedback. However I would still like to know what I did wrong there, I am also doing this to learn something for the future. I dont want to be a dummy when maintaining my shop. So if anyone still knows what I did wrong please let me know. ;)

I tried this contribution and its nothing what I wanted. I just want to fix my own file if anyone has the php knowledge please help me.
