First off, 2 things.

 

Delete the install directory on your server.

Change the permissions of your /includes/configure.php to 644 or 444.

 

Now those security risks are addressed. ;).

 

The problem your having with your images is that they are too large originally. You need to resize them using a decent graphics program.

I recommend using 640x480 as a guide. That size should be sufficient for any preview image. So making your images 640x480 by average should sort out your problem.

 

The image you have linked, I have resized for you and posted here (It is truly massive!)

Right click > Save As > Re-Upload to your server.

I resized the image to 640 height with the constraints enabled (Using Photoshop) as not to make the image lose it's aspect ratio. Then it was 'Saved For Web' optimisation. ;)

 

Replace the one you mentioned with this one and see if it helps.

Alternatively, if I have the wrong end of the stick and you are having trouble with the image in your categorie section (image is not showing at all for me at present). You have a small peice of code missing from where it is your showing this image and it is being overstretched because of this.
