Guest Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Greetings all! I have my store set up for paypal payments, everything seems to be working but when a customer enters an order, and goes to paypal for payment the item number is not recorded so my paypal account show a payment but the item orders is my store name. nothing else. Is this the same as some of the other paypal orders problem I am seeing and if so how do I fix it?
web-project Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 simply change the Transaction Type from "Aggregate" to "Per Item" in PayPal payment module Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
♥Vger Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 "Aggregate" and "Per Item" settings only apply if using the osCommerce Pay Pal IPN module. Vger

♥Vger Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 As it is a new user with just 3 posts it is a fairly safe bet he's using the default osCommerce module. No one starts out with using the IPN version. Edit: I forgot that RC1 comes with the old and outdated version of the IPN module - unerstandable as I don't use RC1 at all. Vger
