programmer79 Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 Maybe I am missing something, but when I upload images if they are not the same size that I specified in the administration section then they turn out blurry. I understand why this is happening, but is there any way to resize the images automatically while keeping the proportions of the image. I have about 500 pictures to upload and it is quite a bit of work to redo every image. Thanks, Tony
joongpark Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 use batch converter or use action from photo shop to do it...photoshop can run batch convert for you too. go to downloads.com and search for batch convert
Guest Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 I use ACDSee from ACD Systems. I've been using it for years and it does exactly what you need it to do.
Guest Posted December 26, 2002 Posted December 26, 2002 Admin>configuration>images set the small image height at 0. I tried that and it looks great.
radders Posted December 26, 2002 Posted December 26, 2002 I'm working on a contribution - Automatic Thumbnail Creator - which makes and saves thumbnails from uploaded jpeg and png images on first request. Optionally, images proportions are maintained, and the image is created with to existing small image size with the remaining space filled with your background colour (rather like the diy kit to make a wide screen tv  ).
