Blank screen on Step 4 of installation...

Hi All,

 

 

I've been Having some trouble on the installation process where I receive a blank screen on 'STEP 4' on the configuration process. I am able to sync up and proceed with the database communication process sucessfully without any problems, and also able to enter all the configuration information up to that fourth step with the blank page. The permissions are also fine, as before it didn't let me continue on in the configuring process without setting the proper permissions also. Then if I also try to go into the admin directory it gives me a : "Unable to connect to database server!" as well, even though it was able to sync up to the database properly in the beginning of the installation.

 

This OSC is being installed on a dedicated Virtual Private server(vps).

 

any ideas on what this could be ??
