How do I resize jpegs

I am trying to get my small jpeg pictures to enlarge when you click on them. I believe you have to add a jpeg image with an _sjpeg added on, but cannot seem to make it work. Thanks for thehelp, this is my first post.

You have it backwards.

 

You upload the larger image and best to have that larger image no wider than about 600px.

 

osc shrinks that emage to fit the smaller size and when you click the enlarge button the original image in the larger size is shown in a popup.

Just to add - that's too big for a 800 x 600 screen......... Personally, I would make it more like 450 max. Alternatively, you could get really complicated and adjust it according to the user's screen resolution but you can't rely on the browser passing that info.
