ssl server Releae 2.1 problems

hi,

 

I have set up mysql sessions like here:

http://www.oscommerce.com/community.php/faq,5-20/q,32

 

but i am still get empty cart error when i proceed to checkout.

 

I have looked at the mysql activity, and items are being added. when i click on go to checkout, a second mysql session is being created. can anyone suggest why?

 

Any imput would be great.

i have made a lot of customized changes to 2.1, and if at all possible would rather use 2.1 . Any ideas on that?

You're going to have a very hard time finding anyone here that uses 2.1 that can help you. As good as it was in it's day it's nothing compared to what 2.2 has become. :D

MMMmm may I suggest that some one in control of the home page actually get this changed please? I only ask as it still says that version 2.1 is still the only stable version. It did completely throw me for a while when I first found it as it says about 2.1 being the latest stable version but the docs are for 2.2 ONLY and all the contributions are for version 2.2 now.

 

It would encoursge more new users IMHO.
