benone Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Hi, I would like to write what we are doing now before I put here the idea of contribution which maybe exists but have no idea how to find it. Anyway, when I process an order and see that can't dispatch everything because one item is out of stock, I have to copy and paste the item name and customer name to the Word Document , thats the way we are creating the list of itames which are currently out of stock. Then we have to print, each person prints seperate list and give it to manager , he is checking and ordering from our suppliers. Is there any possiblity to make this process automated. For example a little check box next to the item name. After checking and pressing "Update" the item name with all the options and customer name would be added to the special database table , and in that way create dynamically the Out Of Stock List. After updating as Dispatched the items would disappearing from the list, so the list would be always up to date. Everyday we have to check the list of items so it would be quite easy and very improving. Maybe you have similliar activities and resolved this problem in other way ? Thank you for reading.
