Credit Card recomendation

I am looking for a recomendation for a credit card service provider. I have read that Authorize.net is the biggest but one needs to go through a reseller that can provide a merchant account. I would appreciate any feedabck about good experiences people have had. I am also open to something other than Authorize .net. My site is www.essential-stuff-store.com and is not live yet.
