socal_kl Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Hello again, Well, 3 days now and still the shopping cart is not working properly. "Your Shopping Cart is Empty!" ... I'm not sure what to do anymore, what to edit, etc. Anyone have any suggestions besides the typical configure file, php.ini files? I'm desperite! Also, now all of a sudden the /admin part of my page stopped working. Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory. Funny? Cause I'm looking at my PHP.ini right now, and register_globals = On ... htaccess = 1 This is getting redic. anyone help plzzzzzzzzzz any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!1 :'( Weather you think you can, or you think you can't. Your right.
socal_kl Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 fixed the /admin problem, except when I go to tools-->file manager--> ... None of my files show up. All kinds of random folders show up. (Which is weird cause the site is running fine????!!! :-O). Below is the list of files/folders that show up .. Whats really weird is, when I go through my hosting I don't get any of these. I see all the correct files/folders. But through the osC backend this is whats showing up in the file manager? Anyone seen this before? Current Folder bin Folder boot Folder dev Folder etc Folder home Folder initrd Folder lib Folder lost+found Folder media Folder misc Folder mnt Folder opt Folder proc Folder root Folder sbin Folder scripts Folder selinux Folder srv Folder sys Folder tmp Folder usr Folder var Download .autofsck Download aquota.user Download quota.user Weather you think you can, or you think you can't. Your right.
web-project Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 your problem has been discussed several times, if you do the search on this forum I can guarantee that you find the answers. socal_kl Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 I'm not really sure what to search for exactly, but thanks for the fast response. Weather you think you can, or you think you can't. Your right.
Rachael w. Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Have you tried this? http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2097
socal_kl Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 I actually just fixed the registered_globals information. This is the problem, the back end of my osC (xxxxxx.com/admin) where the Tools-->File Manager---> none of my files are there. It's packed with random folders that I listed above with multiple sub_folders inside each of them. No Images folder is their, no back up directory folder and no /admin folder. I find this weird considering 1. I'm inside the /admin folder since I'm looking at the Tools--Filemanager section, and 2. All my files on my website work not one broken link. As I was browsing around the backend, I noticed that when I go to Moduels-->Shipping---> or Payment, NOTHING is there, none of the original stuff I had uploaded is located their (UPS XML PayPal etc). Not sure how this happened but it had to of happened when I moved from one server to another. I just don't understand how all the images andpages are showing up and the /admin allows me in if they "don't exist". web-project told me to search this problem, but I honestly don't know where to begin. Anyone? .. Help I'm clueless on this one. Thanks for anyhelp provided! Weather you think you can, or you think you can't. Your right.
socal_kl Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 could these random files showing up be because of the configure file on both ends? Weather you think you can, or you think you can't. Your right.
♥Vger Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Those folders you listed are server folders and nothing to do with osCommerce 'admin' Check, via FTP, that your admin/includes/configure.php file has the correct DIR_FS pathways in it for the new server. Vger
