Guest Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 The shipping rate for USPS will not allow you to select the rate. It automatically puts in Express, which is the most expensive rate. Anybody seeing this problem?

vivyan_wyb Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I have a solution. Looks like USPS made some api changes on November 18th, 2007. This means that you will need to update your shipping module. The problem: When a customer tries to select a USPS shipping option that is not the first one on the list, the store defaults it back to the first one on the list on the confirmation page making it impossible for the customer to choose a shipping option. The reason: USPS changed their shipping API on November 18, 2007 to require all items to be sent in uppercase instead of the old format, first character uppercase and the rest lowercase. The fix: Go through the module and update the shipping types to be all uppercase. We are offering to fix anyone's module, please contact us for details on this. http://www.webyourbusiness.com Vivyan Bharathan - Production Supervisor Web Your Business Inc. http://www.webyourbusiness.com Full Web Development company offering domain registration, hosting, website design, online marketing and E-commerce Tel: 1-970-593-6260 FAX: 1-970-593-6257
