Hi,

Our site has about 2900 pages indexed but all are indexed with the following title and description, i.e osCommerce NOT the company/website name, is this important and if so how do I go about changing this, many thanks Ian

Example of google's index of our home page:

osCommerce :

- [ Translate this page ]

osCommerce : What's New Here? - Hardware Software DVD Movies.

You need to install a meta tags contribution like the Header Tags Controller.

Jack

If you don't you will be put in their supplemental index most likely. (Not good)

Hi Jack,

It appears you never changed the defaut Header Tags text in admin->Header Tags->Text Control. Take a look at the title and meta tags for your privacy page to see what I mean.

That's not a file. It is a location in admin.

Is the HEADER TAGS something that appears after adding a contribution? Because I do not have that option on my website admin. I guess thats why i assumed you were talking about a file path
