DejaVu Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I want to add a contribution that means a buyer can just proceed direct to checkout and purchase without having to signup. Meaning, forwarding straight to Paypal to enter their details rather than register there details twice, once on my store and again on Paypal. Or at least the option to skip entering details on my site and get forwarded direct to Paypal. I think it's something like anonymous buying or guest purchasing? People dont really want to leave to many personal details on my type of store, so I would prefer to just collect their cash from them. Even though there details are automatically added to Paypal transactions, it puts their mind at rest that they arent signing to something they might not want to put their name down on!

DejaVu Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 Thats a great contribution and perfect for what I want. Unfortunately, I'm using RC1 and NEED to add contributions that dont get involved with the 'register_globals' scenario! This one, after installing, gave the error "FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!" Anyone have any other suggestions?

DejaVu Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 Thanks for the links Jim, but I thought RC1 already had this intergrated, hence able to use it already. I will give it a go though. Ta very much

♥toyicebear Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 The included pre-modded files in the PWA contrib is based on older oscommerce snapshots , if you use RC1 you should not drop over the replacemnt files but do the install manually. Guest Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I installed PWA and got messed up really bad. I didn't see a manual install method. Where is it? Wally
DejaVu Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 I tried to install this manually as I have a heavily modded site, but it also messed mine up so I rolled back and put it down to a bad experience. I'm hoping someone with a bit of wisdom can make an RC1 fix for this one. :)
