New installation AAAARRRGGGGH

Hi all

 

I'm trying to install v 2.2 but there are inconsitancies all over the place.

 

I have it on the root of my server (its a winbox yuk! i know) and it requires manual modification of all the configure.php files !!!

 

 

So i run the install script and then goto the admin screnn (yet more "hacking about required"). So in the end i manage to get the admin screen up and running - then i click on anything under configuration and i get this error

 

Error!

 

Unable to determine the page link!

 

Function used:

 

tep_href_link('', 'gID=1&selected_box=configuration', 'NONSSL')

 

Anyone got any ideas what the heck this means ?
