How do they do that on the Cat List on the Left hand Side?

Hiya. I have just found this shop on the live shops part, how did they do the links on the left hand side to show more when you move the mouse over them?

Hope some one knows what i mean!

 

And also, how can i add a box at the bottom of my index page, so i have a box similar to the one that says Want £5 Off your 1st order?

 

And finally how did they do the box for Ebay to actually show up on there page when you click on Our Ebay Store?
