One thought is to change catalog/checkout_shipping.php and change the heading Add Comments About Your Order to Enter text to be engraved. The Problem with that is, that if some1 orders more then 1 trophy the texts can be mixed up or plased on the rong trophy. thx for your comment to try ;) killo.
