[Is it possible?] FedEx Zone Rates + parcel splitting option

Hello,

 

I am setting up a store for someone who is in need of a very specific shipping module as described below:

 

"We need a shipping solution that will calculate shipping charges based upon FedEx Zones and Rates per pound. Plus a small fee per box or possibly a variable tare weight. We never ship more than 55 lbs in one box. Its ok to bundle all items up to the 55 lb. limit then it needs to add a 2nd box and calculate shipping based on the weight of these two boxes. If more than 110 lbs. total , add a 3rd box and so on.........any suggestions? Many thanks!"

 

Currently, it appears that osC does not split parcels when the maximum weight is set to 69 lbs, but simply keeps adding on weight for the same single parcel and then calls for the Fedex rate from the table for the total weight, rather than the rate for 1x(69)+ 1x(12) = total shipping.

 

Does anyone know of a module who will accommodate this this requirement, or is someone currently working on a module that incorporates parcel splitting to work with the Fedex Zone Rates module?
